Description Axel Braun 2024-11-02 01:23:11 UTC
Trying to add a network via Network Manager connection list.
After entering the lengthy password the error message appears:

Nov 02 02:02:15 X1E NetworkManager[1415]: <info> [1730509335.8519] audit: op="connection-add-activate" pid=2441 uid=1001 result="fail" reason="The access point /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/AccessPoint/542 was not in the scan list."

Not sure if this is the same error as that network connections run away during editing

Thanks for the bug report, and I'm sorry we didn't manage to get to it yet. A lot has changed since the issue was reported, in both Plasma and the networking stack in general; can I ask you to see if it's still happening in Plasma 6.3.5 or later with Frameworks 6.14 or later? Thanks a lot!

As I actually had this issue again today I'm reopening the ticket.
I wanted to connect to a new network, selected the network and needed some time to look the password up. Once I entered the password, the above error message appeared.

I saw this myself a week or two ago. Disabling and re-enabling the wifi card fixed it.
