Hi, I own an eink touchscreen dasung paperlike 13.3(2023) and my experience is : touchscreen is working 5 minutes; then touchscreen not working for 5 minutes etc. Does anyone know where are the touchscreen activity log located? Operating System: Kubuntu 24.10 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 Kernel Version: 6.11.0-8-generic (64-bit)
Possibly fixed in Plasma 6.3 with https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/merge_requests/6686
> Does anyone know where are the touchscreen activity log located? Try running `sudo libinput debug-events`
@Vlad, thank you for this useful command line; when the touch function from my screen stops working no events shows up in there when I touch it which maybe is expected However the loss of contact between the touch function and the system must happen/be shown elsewhere tough then I guess. We will wait for 6.3 @Nate Thanks for letting me know about this possible fix, I will report back here when I update to 6.3
I don't think that particular MR is going to address your issue. If libinput doesn't report any events, there might be a hardware issue or something.

After switch to Fedora 41 with Plasma 6.24 the situation does not occur anymore
