Created attachment 175374 [details] broken power management with kde 6.2.2 and power-profiles-daemon SUMMARY On Nobara 40 we get most of our KDE packages from upstream Fedora 40. We performed a repo sync yesterday and everyone received KDE 6.2.2. Along with it came reports of power management being broken (see attached) even though power-profiles-daemon was installed. A user found that installing tuned-ppd package resolves the issue. After conversing with Fedora's KDE matrix channel, apparently the older power-profiles-daemon package is supposed to still work, not be broken.
Does it work if you restart powerdevil with `systemctl restart --user plasma-powerdevil.service`? IUf so, this is probably Bug 492859.
