Does this also happen in a new clean user account with no customizations? If not, I would suggest that this is likely an issue caused by that Plasma theme, or some other customization you've applied. Regardless, you should be able to resize the widgets to your preferred size by dragging from an edge or corner, just like a normal window. If that doesn't work, then I'm *really* sure it's a problem with your custom Plasma theme. :)
It actually was an option in the special application settings that forced plasmashell's minimum size to 1391 x something. I don't know why I’ve never checked there from the beginning, but either way, your reply was very helpful. Thank you so much
