Description Ellie 2024-10-28 17:09:07 UTC
SUMMARY

There seems to have been a recent regression, where right-clicking in an empty spot in any folder view in Dolphin and then moving the mouse on the "Create New" context menu entry, will open a submenu that lists hundreds of items that exceed entire screen size. It seems to lists other pre-existing folders, I'm not sure for what reason since part of the menu is cut off due to its gigantic size. Nevertheless, just choosing to create a new folder doesn't seem to be possible anymore.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Open Dolphin, look inside any folder (like "Home" or whatever opens up)
2. Right-click in some free spot
3. In the context menu, move the mouse onto "Create New"

OBSERVED RESULT

Screen is filled with a context menu with hundreds of entries with no clear purpose.

EXPECTED RESULT

There is some obvious way as there was before to create a new folder.
