After suspend and resume when clicking inside an editor window such as vscode, intellij ide or any other text editor to position the cursor inside the text the cursor (vertical line that marks the point of text editing) starts running from left to right until the end of text. It can be stopped when pressing any button on the keyboard. Unfocusing and refocusing the window by for example Alt+Tab to switch between two windows results in cursor again moving from the current position till the end of the text.
Are you really using master? Does it happen with any native Wayland apps (e.g. Kate), or only with XWayland-using apps? Have you customized the normal Alt+Tab shortcut to be something else?
Hello Nate, I am on version 6.2.2. It does not happen in Kate. I checked and Alt-Tab shortcut is only set to the default shortcut in kwin.
Thanks. Can you go to System Settings > Application Permissions > Legacy X11 App Support and change the value there to "Never"? Then see if it still happens. Thanks!
