Created attachment 175280 [details] Comsustency check Consistency error transactions post dated 5/28/24 to 10/26/2024 before reference account date Equity account Opening balance date have changed several dates before 5/28/24 1/1/24 5/1/24 All with same errors I see no other place to change it
I see no bug here, but a question about using the program. This is best handled through one of the venues listed at https://kmymoney.org/support.html. In this case, the issue is that no transaction in any account should have a date earlier than the opening date for that account. In most cases, when the consistency report finds such transactions, it simply adjusts the opening date for the account to the earliest transaction date. I am not sure why that didn't happen in your case, at least for the transactions shown in the screen shot. For that account, you need to go to the Edit Account dialog and there you can adjust the opening date for the account. If you do that, and the Consistency Check still finds problems, please ask again in one of the other locations referenced at the link I gave. Thanks.
Created attachment 175321 [details] attachment-104686-0.html I discovered later that I had 2 accounts with same name. Apparently I imported into new account instead of existing. Deleted one under assets and left other one as liability account. Consistency passed after that. Thanks for letting us know. Also, when replying to a bug by email, PLEASE remove everything from your message except your response, as your entire message becomes the next comment to the bug, and the extra, duplicated, quoted material just makes it hard to follow the discussion.
