SUMMARY:
Every time i try to put a color/stitch down, the program ctd's - even if i have fewer than 10 colors.
The last three error reports are this:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open kxstitch
2. grab colors from the palette(in this case i was using dmc.)
3. try to put a color down on the canvas.

OBSERVED RESULT
CTD

EXPECTED RESULT
To...put a color down?

Can you please supply details on which versions of KDE and Qt you have installed please?

Where did you install KXStitch from?  e.g. Ubuntu repository, or did you compile source code?

Hm, well i thought it got it through the built in software manager, but  to double check if it was a flat or package file, and it says that it's not installed.
I'll be honest and say that i'm still new to linux(made the switch just over a year ago) and it's most likely something i did. I'm going to uninstall the version i have, and install it using the software manager as a system package, and see if it's a reproducible error on my end.

Well, that fixed the issue, but i neglected to write down the version(and possible source) from the old install.
