Description worthymelight 2024-10-24 21:26:04 UTC
Cyclic reboot of the monitor when entering the session. This problem has been manifested since 6.2, first I encountered it on Arch, and now on BuzzitOS (that's why I did not specify the system in the report, because the problem occurs regardless of the distribution). As soon as I enter the Session, the computer cannot be used, the monitor just constantly reboots.
What I just described happens in the Wayland session, but it partially happens in X 11 too - there, about 6-7 seconds pass between monitor reboots.

Ryzen 7 7700X
RX 7600
32GB DDR5
KDE 6.2 (Wayland)
Samsung Odyssey G5 27 165hz

I also apologize for possible errors in the text - I wrote through a translator.

Oh look, another Samsung Odyssey G5! This appears to be the monitor from hell.
