STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start a screen capture

OBSERVED RESULT
A blank space is seen in the tray, but no icon. Clicking on that space stops the capture

EXPECTED RESULT
An icon is shown in the tray. Clicking on that icon stops the capture
