This bug is related to SDDM, not plasmashell, but I was unable to find the appropriate category where sddm it is. SUMMARY In a dual monitor setup, the SDDM is duplicated on both screens, which is fine Before 6.2.0, I could type my password on any screen/monitor and the login succeeded. Now, on 6.2.1 if I type my password on secondary/to-the right monitor and press ENTER (or click on the arrow next to password input field), the screen brightness is lowered but no login, no error, nothing happens. Than, I move the mouse to the first/to-the-left monitor and type the password and the login succeeded . STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. type your password on the secondary monitor and press ENTER 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT The screen brightness has a slight decrease in brightness but nothing else. No error but no login. If I move the mouse to screen to the left, and type the password and ENTER, login succeeds as expected. EXPECTED RESULT Using the left or right login screens should work.
