I have the bug with absouletyle same effect as #448376.

I have external monitor plugged to HDMI adapter that is plugged to thuderbolt (typec) port of my laptop with gentoo linux. After migrated to wayland and KDE 6 colors on the monitor look like the ones in the bug #448376 and setting the
KWIN_DRM_PREFER_COLOR_DEPTH=24
resolves the situation.

My CPU is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU
