Description MK 2024-10-21 07:53:23 UTC
SUMMARY
Since Plasma 6.2 screen brightness no longer respects the settings in the power management panel: the backlight percentage remains the same regardless of the power source (AC or battery).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Be on Plasma 6.2
2. Set two different brightness levels for AC and battery power
3. Detach/re-attach power source to laptop

OBSERVED RESULT
No changes in backlight intensity regardless of the power source

EXPECTED RESULT
Backlight intensity changes when the power source changes according to the settings
