This is a feature request.
I wish we could have custom indicators within the task manager, icons-only task manager, or at the panel level ? (Choose the color, change the bars highlight for dots like macOS dock, or for dashes like win11 task manager)

Just like what FancyTask project is trying to do, but the person doesn't have much time to work on it. Maybe an official branch with DEVs from KDE project could bring those features in plasma 6.x ?

This isn't planned, sorry. That level of customization isn't really desirable here as it would add complexity to these already incredibly complex widgets, and have the potential to reduce their stability and increase bugginess.
