digikam 1

I am running Linuxserver.io kasm container version of digikam.  On a default install the thumbnails and previews seem to have the incorrect colourspace.  Skin is purple and the other colours look washed out/incorrect.

When I open the image it is displayed perfectly with the correct colours.

I tried changing all the colour space options, renders, everything and couldn't get it to display thumbs and previews correctly.

digikam 2 is edit of an image
preview is preview of images

Probably a bug in the built-in KasmVNC. Please test forcing software OpenGL in the digiKam settings under Miscellaneous->System.

I can confirm that closing and opening digikam resolves the issue, but forcing open gl and unforcing open gl have no impact.
