SUMMARY

Since upgrading to Plasma 6.2.1 from 6.2.0 on Tumbleweed via `zypper refresh && zypper dup` and rebooting, I face the following issues:

* The cursor vanishes sometimes
* The cursor turns into a quadratic rectangle of roughly 4 times the size of the usual cursor, with blue vertical stripes
* The cursor has a blue-ish outline
* The cursor very often turns into a vertical resize cursor, where it should not do so
* The cursor jumps sometimes

* Parts of the screen, like parts of these lines I just type, start to randomly flicker.

Recording of the flickering and rendering issues,

I'd say, it's impossible to work with the system like that.

I've just noticed, that the issue is reproducible only whenever I turn on the night light!
Comment 3 postix 2024-10-18 10:47:41 UTC
Of course it needs to be enabled and being _active_.
