SUMMARY I am using Plasma with BSPWM as my window manager and the z-order of plasmoid tooltips is wrong: they are beneath my windows. This used to work fine on Plasma 5, but it has been broken since Plasma 6. It only affects hovering, clicking the plasmoid works as expected. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use another window manager (BSPWM) in my case 2. Create a Plasma panel, e.g. on the top edge of the screen 3. Add a plasmoid to the panel (e.g. the volume control widget) 4. Open application window (e.g. Dolphin) 5. Hover the mouse over the plasmoid If the window is transparent you can make out the tooltip of the plasmoid, so it is definitely being rendered, it's just covered by the application window. I would like to attach a screenshot, but the tooltip vanishes every time Spectacle takes a snapshot. OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT The tooltip should be rendered above any application windows, just like what you get when you click the plasmoid.
