SUMMARY
Rapidly moving cursor over app descriptions in the applauncher, and in/out of the launcher itself leads to a slow down in the shell and increased memory usage

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open app launcher (Fedora logo on left of default panel)
2. Circle mouse over multiple apps and in/out of the launcher window for a few seconds
3. Observe the highlighting of buttons slows down, fans slowly rev, memory usage spikes

OBSERVED RESULT
Eventual slow down and high resource usage

EXPECTED RESULT
For system to stay snappy
