Description Anatoly 2024-10-15 12:27:55 UTC
SUMMARY
Very long assembly time for vertical project

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create Vertical Project 30 fps
2. Insert Clip 11 Minutes
3. Throw a rotation effect there (or insert a clip with a 90-degree rotation flag)
4. Start Project Assembly

OBSERVED RESULT
There will be a long wait, and then the build time of the project will show 3 days. I tried twice, waited more than a day, the project is moving, but no more than 10-20 percent per day

EXPECTED RESULT
I would like at least, like with my horizontal video on my NVidia GTX 1080 at a speed of 1 minute of the project to 4 minutes of assembly or faster. Or, for example, a 90-degree rotation of the same clip used in a project using Avidemux runs at 75 frames per second

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10 22H2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I observe that project assembly takes very few resources on my system. My AMD 8500 processor with 32 GB of memory. And, in general, guys, thank you very much for what you are doing. I am happy to use kdenlive in my work on a non-profit series
