SUMMARY
As described in the title. I think holding down ESC makes the lock screen repeatedly woken up and turn off the screen.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Lock the screen manually (Meta+L)
2. Hold ESC

OBSERVED RESULT:
1. Screen flashes

EXPECTED RESULT:
1. Screen turns off if it was on, or turns on if it was off.

I'm pretty sure this is a "then don't do that" situation. :)
