STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use KDE Plasma with Wayland (X11 results in the panels overlapping, possibly another bug) 2. Create an "app menu" panel at the top and a blank panel on the side, both set to take the entire width/height 3. Reboot a few times 4. Log onto plasma desktop and open the "Power options" full screen menu and close it a few times OBSERVED RESULT The side panel shifts up a few pixels until opening the edit menu EXPECTED RESULT The panel doesn't move at all, it stays in the proper position SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Plasma 6.2.0, linux 6.11.3.arch1-1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Started happening after my system turned off from idling too long + the KDE 6.2.0 update happened, deleting ~/.local/share/kded6 fixed it until that happened again and now deleting said folder does nothing
Created attachment 174745 [details] The panel shifted upwards (bugged)
Created attachment 174746 [details] Normal (how it was before KDE 6.2.0 and the bug starting, also after entering edit mode)
Created attachment 174747 [details] Normal/not bugged Accidentally uploaded the same screenshot twice, sorry!
Ah this. I'm pretty sure it's already fixed in 6.3.0; I was not able to reproduce it at all the last few timed I tries in response to bug reports (which I can't find not to properly mark this as a duplicate, sorry). We can always re-open this if I was wrong.
