Description John Kizer 2024-10-12 16:23:28 UTC
As-is, the utility of the Search box in NeoChat's Settings dialog is a bit limited because it seems to only search for the name of a settings page. There are few enough pages, however, that they are all pretty easily visible without scrolling in the left-hand side list.

The Search box would be much more useful if it allowed for individual settings to be searched. For example, if I couldn't remember where settings for ignored users were, being able to type "ignore" in the search and have the pages filtered down to Security, with the "Manage ignored users" option highlighted if possible, would be extremely helpful.

Moving to kirigami add-ons as we just re-use their component for our settings.
