SUMMARY
Looks like any keyboard shortcut that uses META as part of shortcut is not working ! 
Other shortcuts like CTRL+F9; ALT+F4; ALT+F3, etc are working
Specifically, I use a lot META+CTRL+LEFT/RIGHT arrow keys to change workspace and META+CRTL+PG UP/DOWN to change activity. None is working but it is listed as expected on KDE Settings/Keyboard/Shortcut.

Also, if I click in a entry to change the shortcut, the META key is not recognized when pressed. The other modifiers are recognized (ALT, SHIFT, CTRL)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  press META+CTRL+RIGHT arrow

You stay in the same workspace

EXPECTED RESULT
The next workspace at right should be displayed.

Somehow, after restarting plasmashell the META key started to work again.
Plasmashell is crashing at beginning of every session. I open a new bug for this and I am closing this because looks like the root cause is the plasmashell crash.
