Also affected. Out of 4 monitors, 3 of them get set to 100% brightness after coming out of power saving. I have the "change screen brightness" setting disabled in the power management settings. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0 Qt Version: 6.7.3 Kernel Version: 6.11.2-2-cachyos (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 24 × 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-13700KF Memory: 31.2 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Manufacturer: ASUS
same thing is happening. when I change the primary display, it's brightness value takes precedent for all displays. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0 Qt Version: 6.7.3 Kernel Version: 6.11.2-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland
Temporary workaround is to go into the monitor's menu and disable DDC/CI.
I seem to no longer have this problem with 6.2.1. Marking it as resolved.
