Can you describe how exactly you set the custom icon for these apps? If you un-favorite the affected apps and then re-favorite them, does that fix the issue?

Hi, i set the icons by right clicking on them, selecting 'edit application', clicking the change icon button, and then pointing them to images in a directory in my home called '.icons/'.

> If you un-favorite the affected apps and then re-favorite them, does that fix the issue?
I never favorited the icons, so i cannot un-favourite them.

We're talking about the icons for WebStorm and DataGrip shown in the Favorites grid in Kickoff, right? If so, you or someone else must have favorited them, because they are not favorites that we ship by default (it would be impossible as they are 3rd-party apps).

If you click on the image, it cleary displays them under the development tab, indicated by the highlighted section of the image that says "Development". This is their default location. Never were Datagrip, Webstorm, or Goland added to the favorites.
