SUMMARY
After upgrading Plasma from 6.1.5 to 6.2 Application Dashboard Widget crashes and doesn't open

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start PC 
2. Application Dashboard crashes after the upgrade to Plasma 6.2 and it's not longer available from the default list of installed widgets. 

OBSERVED RESULT
Application Dashboard widget is setup in one of my Panels, after the Plasma upgrade to 6.2 the widget crashes with no messages and cannot be used. 

I also noticed that it's no longer available from the widget menu and I can only see the widget Application Launcher and Application Menu only. 

To make it to work again I had to manually re install the package `kdeplasma-addons` and now I can keep using once again the widget.

EXPECTED RESULT
The widget should not crash and should still be available in the widget list

Linux/KDE Linux 6.8.0-45-generic / Plasma: KDE Neon 6.2
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2

This works as expected for me.

What do you mean with the dashbord crashes? Does the entire desktop crash and restart?

Lucky you then :-) 

It means that when I click the icon to open the Application Dashboard, the app closes itself and any new attempt at opening it it's futile. A crash precisely.

Removing the widget and attempting to put it back from the widget's menu won't also work as the Application Dashboard widget isn't there anymore. I can only see the Application launcher and the Application menu widgets. The third one isn't there.

You can close this bug if you like. I did a clean install for the third time since 6.0 was released  and the problem described above is now gone. I have other issues now which are already been reported in other bugs that I and other people raised
