SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add the Weather Report widget to the panel. Panel is configured to be at the bottom of the screen like a regular taskbar. 2. Configure the widget with location as Parramatta (New South Wales) and 'show temperature' either on or beside the icon. Enable all the other information to be shown in the tooltip. OBSERVED RESULT No information shown either on the icon or the tooltip. EXPECTED RESULT It should show information as configured. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Operating System: KDE neon 6.2 KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The problem appears to be with the provider wetter.com - it works if you pick another location (say London, provider BBC). Seems like a regression for 300885.
I cannot reproduce the issue. With those exact steps, it works as expected for me. Can you attach a screenshot showing what you do see, instead of what you expect to see?
Ok, now I'm confused. I removed it from the system tray at that point and now I can't seem to find the widget - if I type 'weather' in the add widget panel, it doesn't show up anything. There were some system updates yesterday, not sure if it's been removed.
It sounds like you've got package issues on your host system to work out before we can investigate this as a bug in the weather widget's code. Let us know when those are resolved.
