SUMMARY
The preview of HEIC and HEVC from iPhone 15 is not working. Also can the pictures not been shown.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Just see the preview and open a picture

Hi,

I'm faced the same problem on my MacBook Pro M1 + Iphone 15 pro. The problem is now fixed with next digiKam 8.5.0 available here :
