SUMMARY When opening a pdf file, often the *computer freezes* for about a minute. Without any warning or indication. Then computer contiues normally. Very annoying and disruptive to work. This bug first appeared about 2 weeks ago. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open pdf file 2. computer freezes 3. wait about 1 minute EXPECTED RESULT No freezing at all SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Kubuntu 24.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.11 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0 Qt Version: 5.15.13 Kernel Version: 6.8.0-45-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 8 × 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-1185G7 @ 3.00GHz Memory: 15.3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® Xe Graphics Manufacturer: Dell Inc. (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > What app are you opening it in? This is actually no longer an issue for me, because I upgraded from 24.04 to 24.10. But the freezing bug I had was both when opening on okular, and when saving or copying pdfs.
