Description Kyrre Soerensen 2024-10-06 01:26:19 UTC
SUMMARY
"You can edit something in KDE system settings windows, but what does it do? I want mouseover description"

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to system settings
2. Kdeconnect
3. Look at button, what does it do? No way to find out other than guess.

OBSERVED RESULT
I think its the name for the PC on the kdeconnect, but tried a few times setting the same name I wanted to connect Bluetooth with.

EXPECTED RESULT
"This button changes the name of this device, so you can find that on your phone"

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The KCM component name for bug-reporting for kdeconnect cannot be found.
I also want some more tips on how to connect with Bluetooth, and how to use "add device with ip" for that. Example for hostnames for IP, BT, and others should be there. A few examples would help.
