When i have problems with my internet connection and the ews transport is started, I can hear the fan running and in htop the process jumps to 1. in CPU usage

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start kmail
2. connect to external EWS server
3. disconnect the internet connection on the router, but leave the connection to it OK

OBSERVED RESULT

High cpu usage by the ews process

EXPECTED RESULT

nothing.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
OS: all packages up to date & system rebooted
Linux/KDE Plasma: kernel 6.11.1-arch1-1 under wayland
