Example of the glitch

SUMMARY
When moving a reference image, the image leaves a weird path of visual glitching (similar to that old windows glitch when moving windows). It happens in a non consistent way, about 30% of the times a reference image is moved. It happens more if the image is moved slowly. The glitch clears itself if the canvas is zoomed in/out, or moved.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Paste a reference image
2. Move it
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
Path of lines or pre rendered reference image along the movement path.

EXPECTED RESULT
No lines or visual glitches.

Hi, could you attach the contents of help->system information for bug reports to this report? These glitches are heavily dependent on which type of canvas you use, the canvas acceleration option, the GPU and driver.

Thanks! Could you try switching the renderer from Angle to OpenGL in the Settings/Display page?
