Created attachment 174330 [details] Widget with overlapping text SUMMARY When the Weather Report widget is using NOAA as a source, when a notice is added, the notice information overlaps the weather report STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add the standard Weather Report widget to the desktop (not panel) 2. Add a location that has NOAA as its source (usually an airport, like Houston Hobby Airport) 3. Wait for there to be a notice, which will add the Notice tab next to the Details tab (see screenshot) I've noticed this when waking the display, I don't know if its necessary for this to happen after the notice appears *or* if it would happen as soon as the notice is added If the notice appears properly, and the display goes to sleep and is woken, the widget still displays properly OBSERVED RESULT The text of the notice overlaps the weather report EXPECTED RESULT The notice text is hidden until I click the notice tab SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: git-master KDE Frameworks Version: 6.7.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Reproduced on X11 and Wayland If the notice is already present at login, the widget displays correctly Workaround: Click the details tab and then the "7 Days" tab or Go to a different workspace / activity and return to the one with the widget The widget will display properly
Can reproduce. Part of the problem here may be that the widget's default size on the desktop is too small to show everything. That may be breaking the layout.
I think this might be some deeper component fault or regression in the underlying stuff. If there was a sizing issue we could have overlapping end of a page withe the beggining of another, but not full page over page like here. Will try to reproduce anyway.
