Overview vs How the windows are distributed

SUMMARY
Weird sorting of windows in overview

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. quarter tile some windows
2. open overview

OBSERVED RESULT
The Windows from the bottom half of the screen are moved up in the overview.
See the attached image for more info.

EXPECTED RESULT
Intuitively, the windows on the top of my screen should stay there in the overview.

The algorithm to position windows was changed in Plasma 6.1, and one thing it no longer tries to do is position windows spatially. This unfortunately turned out to be a source of bugs, and we were not able to keep it and still improve the UX in other ways.
