First of all, I think Krita is a beautful took. Thank you.

While Krita was running some AI download in the background took all disk space, the PC went sluggish. I had to close everything, including Krita. After making room I restarted Krita, though everything was reset to default. The workspace was default, the custom brushes/swatches/settings were gone. Recovery as recommended on forums did not help. Customized files in the profile did not exist, the saved custom workspaces in the menu were gone. There were only some brushes in Favorites, but those were reset too.

In my opinion there should be an option to save all settings and brushes and stuff to a single file in i.e. My Documents instead of burried deep in C:\users\user\appdata\bladibla over multiple locations. Also, customized settings should not be affected by crashes and such. It seems that Krita tried to save everything on exit and defaulted because it couldn't.

Sorry, but we don't support AI plugins, they are all 3rdparty. Please file a report about filling up disk space with the creators of the plugin.

The location for configuration files ared determined by the platform, we have no influence over that, but in any case, if you run out of disk space, it's all over.

Thank you for your time and fast response, but there was no plugin involved.

There was a download in the background, unrelated to Krita. The PC ran out of disk space and got sluggish. After restarting all custom Krita settings, brushes, templates and swatches were gone. The saved custom Workspace was gone. It may be expected behavior with a disk with 0 space, but it would be nice to be able to export all settings and such so it can be imported in case of a problem or when migrating.
