Created attachment 174272 [details] Game state of the allegedly not winnable game SUMMARY The solver is a cool feature. It would be way cooler, if it would not tag actually solvable games as "not winnable" or "lost". STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set the game number to the two example game numbers provided in the screen shots. 2. Reproduce the game situation. 3. Play along the solution path sketched out by the screen shot. In contrast to the solver claiming both games either "not winnable" (the first one) or even "lost" (the 2nd one), both are winnable. OBSERVED RESULT Solver claims the given examples to be either "not winnable" or even "lost", despite them being clearly winnable. While for the allegedly "not winnable" game at least the game could be stored as "*.kpat" (provided), for the allegedly "lost" game saving the game state is even not possible anymore. EXPECTED RESULT Correct classifications or at least not preventing the user from saving the game … SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION the problem exists since years …
