Description kipperpaws 2024-09-30 21:45:29 UTC
SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Made a Linux Mint VBox and set up labplot flatpak from September 2nd. Works fine. Transferred to hardware, works fine.
2. Flatpak Updated on the VB and real machine.
3. The VBox Mint with labplot works, but not on the actual hardware. Up to now I have not had any issues updating on either. Something happened in the update from after September 2 to prevent it from working. If I role back to the version from Sept 2, it works.

OBSERVED RESULT
Just does not work on actual hardware once updated to 2.11.1. I can click the icon to start, the mouse cursor spins and then just stops.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The only update in the Flatpak after Sep. 2 was an update of Cantor from 24.08.0 to 24.08.1.
I can't see any reason why a Flatpak runs in a VM but not on hardware. Can you start it on a terminal to see any error messages?

I attached two images. The one that is longer has a working Labplot from
September 2. The shorter one is the one that hangs with no splash screen or
anything displayed.
