Description Adam Jimerson 2024-09-30 15:47:32 UTC
SUMMARY

In effert to try and help organize my emails, I am wanting to have a set of tags defined, and then use Kmail's message filters have a specific tag get added to the email when the filters run. Basically wanting to replicate the setup that Nate blogged about here https://pointieststick.com/2024/07/09/how-i-manage-my-kde-email/ talking about how he manages his emails. For example I have a tag called "tag: Politics" and one called "tag: Travel" defined in Kmail, but when I go and create the message filter and in the actions if I select the "tag: Travel" filter then after saving the filter it will use the "tag: Politics" tag instead.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Define 2 or more tags in Kmail
2. Define a message filter that adds the tag to emails
3. Select one of the created tags

OBSERVED RESULT
No matter what tag I tell the filter to add to the email, upon saving the message filter the first tag is selected.

EXPECTED RESULT
It should respect and correctly save my selection.
