Created attachment 174194 [details] floating panel resizing weirdness for certain maximzed windows SUMMARY windows on overview change position/dance/wiggle around when you switch workspaces with a floating window to a workspace with maximized windows with a floating panel on overview STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. configure floating panel (always visible) 2. open window on 1st workspace (not touching the panel) 3. open multiple maximized windows or windows that touch the panel causing it to de-float on the 2nd workspace next to it 4. switch from workspace 1 to 2 via overview effect OBSERVED RESULT when the panel has to de-float the windows on the 2nd workspace quickly switch positions with each other EXPECTED RESULT they don't dance/wiggle around SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Aurora 40 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.10.8-201.fsync.fc40.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-1340P Memory: 15.3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® Graphics ADDITIONAL INFORMATION this dancing only seems to affect maximized windows. Floating windows are not affected.
