STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. In an album, the view is set to "Thumbnails". 2. Go to Trash. Note that the buttons to change the view (Thumbnails, Preview, Map, Table) are disabled (grey) and that "Map" is selected. But the view in trash is "Table". 3. Go back to previous album: view switches to "Map" (instead of remaining "Thumbnails") SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 40 Gnome Digikam : digiKam-8.5.0-20240923T100112-Qt6-x86-64.appimage
Note that this is not always reproducible. I can't figure out how to reproduce it every time. First time it happened while the trash was empty.

The problem could occur if you were in the map view a long time ago. Now the last album view mode is always called up. Because if someone uses the table view, for example, they most likely don't want to find themselves back in the thumbnail view after the trash. Maik
