SUMMARY After updating to Plasma 6.2, I noticed that the cursor is laggy on the desktop and in the settings. After that, I opened Firefox, it was okay there. Opened Brave browser and cursor was laggy there as well (regardless if run in Wayland or X11 mode). I'm not sure what the pattern is. This only happens if VRR is set to always. Didn't have this issue on Plasma 6.1. Happens both on main laptop and on external monitor (both run in 60+ fps). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have VRR set to Always. 2. Open settings. 3. Move cursor. OBSERVED RESULT Cursor is laggy. Opened a fps online tester in Brave browser, it was actually running in 120 fps, only the cursor was laggy. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Fedora Linux 41 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.11.0-63.fc41.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 22 × Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 185H Memory: 30.7 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® Arc ADDITIONAL INFORMATION If I shake the cursor until it get's bigger, it's not laggy anymore, until it drops to normal size.
