Created attachment 173998 [details] Black spots visible in the corners of the terminal when using ROUNDED theme. SUMMARY When a theme with shadow effect or rounded corners is used, black spots appear in the corners of yakuake terminal. This only happens when using Wayland (with X11 there are no issues). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Login to a Wayland session; 2. Start yakuake; 3. Download and apply one of the themes with shadows/rounded corners. For example: ROUNDED, Materia Dark, Prof Light; 4. Press F12 to drop down the terminal. OBSERVED RESULT Black spots in the corners of the terminal are be visible. For some themes spots are big (ROUNDED), medium (Prof Light) or single pixel (Plastik Light). EXPECTED RESULT Shadows and rounded corners are displayed without glitches. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: N/A macOS: N/A (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240922 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I can only use themes without shadows and without rounded corners (like Arc Dark). I attach a screenshot depicting the issue.
I got the same glitch.... Also after waking my box up from standby yakuake somezimes adds a huge black background area over half of my screen when gliding in into non-fullscreen mode. After switching to full screen and back this corrects itself (but the problem with the shadow effect stays!)... This doesn't always happen, but often enough to be worth reporting. thx for reading, p.
