Created attachment 173924 [details] The check background activity menu on Samsung One UI 6 (Android 14). The program does not stop being displayed in the menu "Check background activity" and continues to be an eyesore with the display that "I have some application running on my phone". If it was disconnected from another device and closed, but the process was running in normal mode. If it is possible to disable the display of background activity like in F-Droid or other applications? Thanks, Dan.
For me, kdeconnect appears in the background menu (Android 13) but I did not start it and do not want it running. I only want it to run when I choose to run it. An app that starts itself and drains charge in the background is not what I expect from KDE - honestly having been a user for 20+ years this puts me off the whole ecosystem -- apps that load without request and don't have a setting to turn that off? Why?? It's very useful when you need it, but I see notifications every other day that it's running yet only use it once a month at most. Maybe it's Android, because apps I want to run in the background get closed! In short, it sounds like the same issue, it appears in the background apps list. But for OP they don't want it on the list, for me I don't want it starting in the background, never ever.
