Version: 1.4.3 (using KDE KDE 3.0.3) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: precompiled rpms OS: LinuxLinux Signing messages works correct. When trying to encrypt mails kmail always says there was no key foung for user *emailaddress* even if *emailaddress* is part of the public keys. Then there is the possibility to select a key, but i am not able to click the ok button, if i chose a key or not. I use gpg 1.0.7, tried to downgrade to 1.0.6, reimported all my keys, nothing worked to make the ok button clickable. There is no real error message or crash, the problem is just that i cant click ok button on key selection, just cancel i am able to press.
Yes, it seems the error message is a little bit wrong. Actually it should read "No _trusted_ key for user blah was found". I will change this message accordingly after KDE 3.1. The rest of your problem is answered by this: http://docs.kde.org/3.0/kdenetwork/kmail/faq.html#id2836206 In short: KMail doesn't allow the usage of untrusted keys.
Please check the messages in aegypten_branch now. I've rewrote most of the key resolving code, but I saw Ingo's comments on the i18n change and used the new ones.
Marc can we close this wishlist now?
Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding.
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
