Description mahikeulbody 2024-09-20 07:59:37 UTC
My Digikam is configurated to write Title on XMP-dc:Title only.
But setting a Title through the Captions panel, Digikam writes also to the field QuickTime item:list:title.

NB. Setting XMP-dc:Title with Exiftool command line does not write to itemlist:title so it is not a side effect of Exiftool.

Correct, this is intentional. However, this Quicktime tag is only written to video files. It enables exchange with Windows programs that only read and write Quicktime. Implemented due to request from other users.

Ok, fine. Thanks for the answer.

May be advanced users (it is an *Advanced* panel after all) would be aware of what happens to their metadata so that information could appear as (e.g.) : <check box> XMP.dc.title (and also itemlist.title for quicktime videos)

But personally I don't care.
