Can you please provide additional information, I am not sure what you are trying to report. I have opened a PDF in Okular, pressed Ctrl+P and I can switch between my printer and "Print to file (PDF)" options. Maybe a screenshot or screen recording would better help illustrate the issue.

Ah so your system printer isn't showing in Okular. Is Okular from your system repository or is it from Flathub/Snap/Appimage etc? Can you also please fill out the template so we can see software/hardware info: SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version:

I installed it from the system repository.
As the template suggests: available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window

The command is "kinfocenter". But if it's not available, can you please at least write down what's written in the Help -> About Okular menu? You can get the Okular version (on top) and all the information in the "Components" tab. Also, which distribution do you use, and which version of the distribution?
The following is from: Info Center version: 5.27.11 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.11 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0 Qt Version: 5.15.13 Kernel Version: 6.8.0-45-generic (64-bit) Graphic Platform: Wayland Ubuntu was downloaded from ubuntu.com Current version: 24.04.1 LTS
I reviewed the video of the issue again and noticed that Okular is perhaps installed as a snap. Can you try installing Okular from the Ubuntu repository (non-snap) and see if the issue is the same?
Created attachment 174013 [details] attachment-590197-0.html I uninstalled it and then installed it from the repository. It now prints. Finally, thanks. I moved it to the snaps category as while you found a way to print, the issue still exists in the snap package for Okular.

Please tell me the output of snap list okular snap list cups
Scarlett, Unfortunately I cannot provide your request for I removed the snap version of Okular and replaced it with Okular from the Ubuntu repository (non-snap). I get the following: $ snap list okular error: no matching snaps installed $ snap list cups error: no matching snaps installed

I know how to proceed, thanks!
Created attachment 174041 [details] attachment-783411-0.html I'm glad that I was helpful in some way. And thank you for letting me know. BTW - Okular is a very good product, which is why I tried and tried to get it to work under "snap".
