Description Kagami Sascha Rosylight 2024-09-18 23:42:24 UTC
SUMMARY
The digital clock becomes empty as if nothing is there, if timezone is not set properly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Forget to set timezone when installing Arch Linux (timedatectl shows none for timezone)
2. Install KDE Plasma and run sddm
3. The clock doesn't show up

OBSERVED RESULT
No clock at all, as if no clock widget is there. Not even some empty space. Adding multiple clock widgets adds some empty space but that's probably because of the margin between widgets?

EXPECTED RESULT
Something should be shown, like "no timezone", or maybe default to UTC?

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2
