SUMMARY I animate in a perfectly opening and closing file. I finish and render the animation, it says "animation could not be rendered" - I close file. I try to reopen file, it says "not a valid krita file" and is 0B size. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Animate anything, even very simple. 2. Render animation. Get error saying cannot be rendered. 3. Close file - application can remain open. 4. Attempt to reopen file. Does not work. OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I am using the current version of Krita on my Android S8 Tablet. Hi, xephyrbreeze! Could you please check two things? 1) Do you have enough disk space on the device? 2) Could you try to check the location of "Video location" to some other location, e.g. in Downloads folder? I have a feeling like it tries to export video into the original file for some reason.
ok i guess it was a user issue after all 😭 i never render them as a video, so i'm not sure why that was turned on. thank you! i turned it off and now things just render normally. definitely saved some future headache for me, thank you! :)
