SUMMARY In Clipboard configuration I checked "Keep the selection and clipboard the same" with default rest settings (check attached screenshot. I copied couple strings by Ctrl+C (they were dropped to history of clipboard) after that I selected only some different string, so it was dropped to clipboard (don't see it in clipboard history because of settings). Now trying to paste, but not what I selected only entry from history, and cannot do it. Every time is pasted what was selected. This, IMO, is not intuitive. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set "Keep the selection and clipboard the same" 2. copy (Ctrl+C) couple strings to have entries in clipboard history 3. select some different string 4. open clipboard and click onto any entry 5. paste (Ctrl+V) OBSERVED RESULT pasted what was selected EXPECTED RESULT should be pasted what I was clicked in clipboard history SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.7.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION KDE Neon updated yesterday

That's kinda expected when "Keep the selection and clipboard the same" is enabled.
Hmm, why would that be expected?
(In reply to Fushan Wen from comment #3) > That's kinda expected when "Keep the selection and clipboard the same" is > enabled. I understood that "Keep the selection and clipboard the same" if no action from my side, but here I intentionally selected what I wanted to paste. And Clipboard ignored it.
(In reply to Fushan Wen from comment #3) > That's kinda expected when "Keep the selection and clipboard the same" is > enabled. shouldn't in that case clicking on the entry actually change the selection clipboard?
Can anybody still reproduce it? I tried on current Plasma (6.4.4) and cannot trigger it with the same settings, unless I am missing something.
