I can't scroll when the cursor is on the very top/bottom, regardless if I really am on the very top/bottom of the first/final photo. (2.36 MB, video/mp4)

Deadzones on the very top and very bottom of it (4 pixels on GIMP).

These corners on the very top and very bottom of the "window preview/selector" have 4 pixels of deadzone.

Can it be changed so these 4 pixels allow the usage of the scrollbar when the cursor happens to be over them?

I have a 1920x1080p screen, and I'm using a touchpad with two fingers to scroll.

I am unable to reproduce a dead zone at the areas pointed to by the arrows in the screenshot. I do notice that I can't click on the scroll bar in the outer right corners of the scrollbar, but scrolling still works fine (-ish; it switches windows rapidly, but that's unrelated).

Somewhat tricky problem. These paddings are intentional. However I can see how they interfere with Fitts' Law for grouped tasks with enough windows that the popup becomes scrollable. I think it's worth special-casing this.
